Cortana is your digital agent. She’ll help you get things done. The more you use Cortana, the more personalized your experience will be.
You can find Cortana on the circular icon on your task bar beside the Start Menu. Enable the voice feature by clicking on the microphone icon inside the search field. Now you can simply say, “Hi Cortana” to access it.
Say “Hey Cortana” and ask your question. For example, “What is the square root of 52?” Cortana will then reply back with an answer to your calculation question.
Check Appointments with Cortana.
Again, say “Hey Cortana” and ask something like, “Do I have any appointments today?” Cortana will then check your calendar and reply back with a list of meetings.
Get the Weather Forecast with Cortana.
Say, “Hey Cortana, what is the weather like?” It should respond back with the current weather forecast.
Send an Email through Cortana.
Say, “Hey Cortana, compose an email to: (one of your contacts)” Dictate the message you want to send and wait for Cortana to prompt you with a message to send it.
