If you get an email with a PowerPoint about the Mayan “End Of The World”, simply delete it.  Do not open it. According to security experts, Sophos, this PowerPoint presentation about the Mayan calendar ending is full of bad malware ready to infect your computer system.

Earlier this week, two security experts, Peter Szabo and Richard Wang discovered malware hidden in an Excel spreadsheet that creates Sudoku puzzles.

SophosLabs researcher, Scott Sitar, also found the same malware in a booby-trapped PowerPoint presentation titled “Will the world end in 2012?”
