What is in upcoming Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 service pack 3?
Microsoft officials recently announced that the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 is almost ready. They also mentioned their plan to release the new service pack 3 or SP3 by the first quarter of 2013 as well. Officials at Microsoft also claim that they have included all fixes requested by the customers and included the bug fixes in service packs 1 and 2.
The announcement about Service Pack 3 was made by the a few officials from Microsoft in the Microsoft Exchange Conference (MEC) week. According to them, the Service Pack will support Windows 7 and 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista. In addition, Exchange Server 2010 must be in the computer prior to installing Service Pack 3. People should also uninstall any Interim Updates for Exchange Server 2010 between service packs 2 and 3 in order to avoid any problems. According to several blogs, customers will need to update their Active Directory in order to install it.
