“We are taking bold steps at Microsoft,” said Ballmer during a press conference in San Francisco. “The new, modern Office will deliver unparalleled productivity and flexibility for both consumers and business customers. It is a cloud service and will fully light-up when paired with Windows 8.”

The Office program is ideal for use with the Windows 8 operating system and Windows RT and Surface tablet PCs, of course. In the cloud, users can take advantage of SkyDrive and Office on Demand. Office on Demand is a subscription service that will enable users to access Office even when they aren’t using their own devices as long as they have access to an Internet-connected Windows-based computer.

Office users will be able to use SharePoint for collaboration and integrate it and Microsoft Dynamics with Yammer. The new Office software will come with Skype pre-installed. Everything a business owner needs to maintain a productive, efficient team and sustain a thriving business.

The new Microsoft Office software will have many new and exciting features that business professionals may find both useful and fun.
