Frequently asked questions
Is Microsoft 365 secure out of the box?
It’s a good platform, but the default settings aren’t enough for most businesses. MFA, Conditional Access, device management and email protection need to be configured to suit how you work.
Do we need Microsoft 365 Business Premium?
Not always. Business Premium includes many of the security tools on this page, and for many businesses it’s good value, but we’ll recommend the right mix of licences for your needs and budget.
Will the changes disrupt our staff?
We plan and test changes carefully and explain them to your team first, so day-to-day work isn’t interrupted.
Can you manage our phones and laptops with Intune?
Yes. We can enrol company devices and, where appropriate, personal devices used for work, with policies that protect company data.
Is Microsoft 365 security included in our licence?
Many Microsoft 365 security features are already included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium and other plans. We check what you have and switch on the Microsoft 365 security you’re already paying for.
